South-Central Latina. Gemini. Advocate.

Priscilla Maria is based in Orange County, California. She graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University and double-majored in Sociology and Africana Studies. After earning a Dean's Merit Scholarship, she attended and graduated with her Juris Doctor from UC Irvine School of Law.

She had a bicultural and bicoastal upbringing as the daughter of immigrants from Ecuador and Nicaragua. Growing up in several states, she has experienced living in different environments and around diverse cultures. No matter where she lived in America, however, racism, sexism, and classism were ever present. Her unique upbringing and personal obstacles sparked an intense personal drive to unapologetically shine light on social issues and taboo subjects.

She strongly believes in the power of solidarity and shared identity. She hopes to use the power of story-telling to uplift others and to normalize self-care, self-empowerment, and community building.
